Our Seven Years in Paradise

Nearly everyone who gets a glimpse of the Seychelles, dreams of living there. This book is about a growing South African family, who moved to the Seychelles in the late 1970's. Though inexperienced learners, they found they could play a small part in God's mission to see Christ formed in the lives of the people of Seychelles.

The story is written from the personal perspective of the young couple who were part of a team that was involved in the training of young potters and the formation of the ceramic craft industry on the islands. Dengue fever and mercenaries play their part, together with new births, days at the beach, octopus curry and a turbulent political climate.
