The Past is Present - Looking Back On South Africa's Troubled History

I wrote this book, privately distributed to family and friends, as a personal challenge to provide a readable and concise history of South Africa. As I progressed, I found myself dealing with some of my own experiences as a student at Rhodes and as a Lecturer and Professor at The University of Natal. It has short, focussed chapters that can be easily read and might be of interest to teachers, students and anyone looking for a quick introduction to the subject.
