During a hike along a desolate and wind-swept coast, he encountered unusual tracks in the sand. Definitely an animal but with a curious and playful disposition. The imprints led him further and further until he noticed an inexplicable change. Upon reaching a stream entering the churning sea, the tracks emerged on the opposite bank as human footprints. Transfixed, he gazes far in the shimmering distance to see a solitary figure walking upright.
What had he witnessed? An illusion, the result of a simple coincidence, or a truly significant event? Could he have witnessed the transformation of an animal into a human? Naturally, he seriously doubted this conclusion but he couldn't deny what he saw with his own eyes. The mystery consumes him and his everyday city life grows increasingly mundane.
A siren call he's compelled to pursue but what form will the transformation take, a diabolical entity, an abomination, or natural beauty and enduring love?
